To use the charger, simply power up your Switch Dock and attach the charger directly to the dock using the USB port on the side. The Joy-Cons will light up red to indicate they are charging, and the light will turn green when they are fully charged. With the four additional charging ports, you can charge up to six Joy-Cons at once. The charger also provides an extra USB port to connect a Switch Pro Controller while the Joy-Cons are charging.
